buyahipflask.com is one of three retail websites run by Macdonald Sporrans Ltd. We have been trading online since June 2004 and are owned and operated by Fergus Macdonald. Fergus started trading while studying for his degree in Business Studies at The University of Edinburgh, where he graduated with a First Class MA with Honours in 2007. As a student, Fergus gained valuable experience in retailing by spending nearly 2 years working for prestigious world-renowned brands Armani and Crombie.
We started out trading through macdonald-sporrans.com, and in the Autumn of 2009 as our product range increased we divided the site into three new specialist sites: buyakilt.com, buyahipflask.com and buyatankard.com. All three sites are inter-connected so if you’ve bought from us before, your account will still be there, and works across all three sites. The sites share a shopping cart, so you can purchase from all 3 sites in 1 transaction.
Aims
buyahipflask.com is a uniquely online hip flask retailer. We have chosen this medium to minimise operating costs and reduce our overall environmental impact. We work directly with a number of the best manufacturers in the UK so that we can bring products from production to you, the customer, in as few steps as possible. For this reason, most of our hip flasks are shipped directly from the people that make them, to you, the people that use them.
