Engraving Information
Engraving Fonts:
We offer engraving in a number of fonts. Check them out on our Engraving Preview tool by clicking the image below:
If you have a specific font which is not shown there, please contact us and we may be able to have your item engraved with that font.
Engraving will be carried out according to the engraving designer's specifications - please detail any special requests in the comments box at the bottom of the item description, or during the checkout process.
Engraving costs vary depending on the manufacturer, please see individual items for more details.
Logo Engraving:
Customers must provide artwork to be engraved, we do not offer an artwork preparation service. For best results when engraving logos, artwork should follow these guidelines:

black and white images, with white backgrounds

clear, crisp lines with smooth edges

no additional text (text included within a logo or clan crest is OK) - all text should be processed separately as 'Text Engraving'

as large as possible (preferably greater than 500 pixels in height and width) - the image will be scaled down to fit appropriately on the item

should be supplied as a .GIF, .JPG or .PDF

Clan Crest Engraving:
We offer a huge selection of over 140 Clan Crest Engravings to engrave on any of our engraveable products.
An example crest is shown here, if you require a digital copy of a specific crest in order to have a clear idea what the crest looks like, please contact us.
Engraving Placement:
Engravings will be placed according to the engravers discretion, unless specified otherwise. Hip flasks cannot be engraved on the top or bottom of the flask or the sides, only on the front and back. Tankards can only be engraved on the outside of the body, not on the base, handle or on the inside. Quaichs can be engraved on the inside and outside of the bowl, not on the base or on the handles.
